Hello! I'm Yai and I'm Argentinian. I love the world of video games, and YES, I'm a gamer! 👾 I've been playing video games since I was 4 years old, and I still play in my free time. I also enjoy drawing, tattooing, and painting figures, among other things.
My nickname is [Zyrak], or Zyrak88 when the name is already taken. Who the hell is using Zyrak?! And you know, we don’t always stick to our teenage nicknames (mine used to be Norton), and I used it for a long time. I still sometimes run into someone I know on the street, and they still call me 'Hey, Norton'🤣
Since I love both video games and drawing, I studied Game Art at Image Campus in 2008, took Game Design courses, and started working in the industry in 2010 at the age of 22. Since then, I have built my career in QA, working on projects for PC, iOS, and consoles like Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PSP, PS4, Xbox One, Steam OS, and Sifteo Cubes. I also gained production experience on Master of Orion (NGD/Nimble Giant) and worked in QA Management at Sixth Vowel and The Sandbox, leading four products involving blockchain technology.
I love analyzing what we're doing, how we're doing it and if it feels good as a user, if not, I like comparing it to how other games handle it and how they solved similar issues. I check whether it’s intuitive and if we could improve it. I enjoy putting myself in the shoes of the end user. Still waiting for that 100% bug-free experience, but as QA I know that will never happen! 😁
I love being involved in the development process from the very beginning, getting my hands dirty, and working side by side with developers. I can proudly say I’ve broken the myth that QA and developers don’t get along!🤜🤛
And sorry in advance, I know many people hate it, but... I'M A JIRA LOVER 🙌
